  • The ‘Unbroken Prayer Chain for Kenya’ was launched at Nairobi Baptist Church in 2009, and NBC became the first church to pray for the nation 24/7, under this initiative. From that first (Nairobi) torch, the prayer network has grown into five torches in different regions around Kenya. The 10th anniversary celebration of the prayer chain will be held at Nairobi Baptist Church (on 22nd June 2019), we praise God!.

  • We had only two visitors this morning.  One was an older man who had come to Nairobi to see a doctor on Monday morning, then was going back home upcountry.  He told us he wanted to give his life to the Lord.  The other visitor was a Pastor from a Baptist Church in Eastern Uganda who had heard about NBC ten years ago and had come to see for himself (he was going back home later on Sunday).  So we asked him to pray with this man and us (team that attends to visitors).  Just thought you’d like to know about this new believer. It’s always special.

  • I had a feel of the touch down in person. I felt Him. An overwhelming feeling…I felt chills all over my body…Before Pentecost Sunday, I was anxious…I was scared suddenly during service a wind of peace hit me..I have never experienced such peace in my life. Even the mountains I thought were big in my life bowed down at His feet. I came with a deep hunger, a thirst, a desire ..I just needed more of Him and during that service I experienced an overflow… An outburst…I can’t explain the joy and peace in my heart because its unexplainable, it’s unmeasurable. I feel new…reborn…a rebirth happened… I left all baggage at the foot of the cross…I am light!
